*October 7, 2008 Release EIA

As the EIA November forecast on short-term energy and winter fuels outlook for this season’s costs are not expected to be as high as initial projected, NOW is the time to use some money saved to take care of energy efficiency measures for the future.  It is wise to invest in energy efficiency at home when we have the funds to do so, rather than to wait until energy prices spike again.  Although energy costs have dropped due to economic recession and uncertainty around the world, high energy prices will return when the economy recovers and global energy supplies become tight once again.  Besides, efficiency in the right thing to do, saving not only money but helping us all reduce greenhouse gas emissions and practice good stewardship of God's creation.
